JAIMEE HARRIS

Jaimee Harris is poised to become the next queen of Americana-Folk, a slightly edgier Emmylou Harris for the younger generation.

Her new album draws comparisons to Patty Griffin, Ryan Adams, and Kathleen Edwards – all writers who know how to craft a heartbreakingly beautiful song with just enough grit to keep you enthralled. Harris writes about the basic human experience, in a way that is simple, poetic, and often painfully relatable.

CHRISTINA CAVAZOS

Austin singer-songwriter Christina Cavazos was just 16 when she released her first EP, About You. She followed it up a year later with Cold, an alluring collection of elegant dream-pop that drew high praise from Austin American-Statesman critic Peter Blackstock, who called Cavazos “not just a future name to watch, but a captivating singer-songwriter who has already arrived.” With her third EP, Mile Marker, she carves out confident territory as a young adult about to embrace her future. Simultaneously releasing her six-song EP, produced by Charlie Magnone, and graduating from Austin’s School for Performing and Visual Arts, Cavazos heads to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts’ Clive Davis Institute for Recorded Music in fall 2018.

Already musically mature, Cavazos has performed at some of Texas’ most celebrated venues, including Austin’s iconic Cactus Cafe, Antone’s and Threadgill’s, and McGonigel’s Mucky Duck in Houston. Her April 2017 Cactus Café performance was taped for airing nationwide as part of the Live at Cactus Café series on ESPN’s Longhorn Network; she also has earned airplay on Austin’s KGSR, Sun Radio, 101X and KUTX. A live version of Mile Marker’s title track was selected as a KUTX Song of the Day, as was “Over Me,” from Cold. A two-time Old Settler’s Music Festival Youth Talent Competition finalist, Cavazos’ expanding list of accolades and accomplishments also includes a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music’s 2016 summer program in Boston.

NATHAN EVANS FOX

Nathan Evans Fox is an Americana songwriter and musician from Glen Alpine, NC. Growing up immersed in country, rock, bluegrass, and hymns, Fox synthesizes his musical roots to produce a sound all his own. He has been writing music, playing fiddle and guitar, and collaborating with other musicians for over ten years. Recently his song-crafting prowess has been recognized by the Songwriter Serenade and Wildflower! songwriting competitions.

LINDSAY FOOTE

writes honest, soul-bearing music coupled with a voice that will melt even the hardest heart.

Inspired by the alternative folk music scene, Lindsay has been writing songs for as long as she can remember. Originally from Winchester, Massachusetts, she moved to Canada in 2009 to study voice at the University of Toronto.  In 2009, she released an EP, A Better View, followed by a full solo album, From the Blue, in 2015.
