The New Offenders know a little something about overcoming adversity via hard work and self-dedication. This Southern Roots Rock quintet based in Houston, TX has chosen to travel the grassroots route.

Taking care of all business and creative ventures in-house, the group has been rewarded with gigs in regional staples such as Luckebach, TX and the main stage at Gruene Hall to Houston’s top circuit venues like House of Blues and White Oak Music Hall. Pair that with landing some support slots for the likes of national and regional touring acts such as Aaron Lewis, Fuel, The Cadillac Three, Uncle Lucius and Honey Island Swamp Band and you’ve got a recipe for growth and maturation.

The addition of Blake Bentley on keys has taken the original lineup of Hunter McKithan (vocals, guitars,) T.Ray Porche (vocals, guitar,) Jason Nelson (bass guitar) and Dustin Edwards (drums) to another dimension. The sonic possibilities have opened wider than ever before.

The guys have been touring the South, Midwest and Rocky Mountain regional circuits in support of 2016’s debut release, ‘Stones to Throw,’ and are ready to expand the radius to reach both coasts this Summer and Fall and get back in the studio early 2019 to work on new music to release to the U.S.

Their genre-bending combination of funky blues and dirty, groove-based roots rock leaves nothing to question when it comes to honest, felt-in-the-soul truth.
