GABE WOOTTON

From the piney woods of East Texas to the flat lands outside Lubbock, from the rolling prairies of Central Texas to the sandy shores of the Virgin Islands, Gabe Wootton has covered more than a few miles. With an eye on the horizon and an ear in the wind, he has found melody in the mundane and rhyme in the hum of life. A sketch of scenes in passing, character studies of the broken and the jubilant, triumphant tales of ruin to joyful lamentations of woe, Gabe’s songs run the gamut incorporating elements of all the music he has stumbled upon throughout his life.

JORGE PALOMAREZ

Jorge Palomarez is a native Texan, from the town of Edinburg in the Rio Grande Valley.  During his high school days Jorge with his brother Rey, (lead singer and drummer, respectively) played in a rock band covering songs by bands such as the Rolling Stones, the Spencer Davis Group, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Spirit.

While in college in the 70’s, Jorge started performing as a solo songwriter performing at small festivals and coffee houses.  Acoustic music became rather dormant during the late 70’s and the 80’s but in the early 90’s acts like John Gorka, Nancy Griffith, Suzanne Vega headed a singer-songwriter wave that re-kindled Jorge’s interest in performing again.  Slowly and methodically he has built a repertoire of carefully crafted and well thought-out songs ideal for listening rooms and house concerts.
