1. What time do we open?
Due to COVID-19, we have temporarily suspended Singer/Songwriter nights on Wednesday and Thursday. For any other events we have limited seating, and follow all CDC guidelines.
7:00 pm Wednesday and Thursday for Singer/Songwriter Nights, and 8:00 pm on any day we have shows (usually Friday and Saturday, but sometimes other days of the week, please check our Events page before you decide to come to Singer/Songwriter Night). Hours subject change without notice.
2. What time do the shows start?
8:30 pm, sometimes 9:00. It depends on if there is an opener or not, and/or what time the artist wants to start, but no earlier than 8:30 pm.
3. Do we serve food?
We have bar snacks for a $1 (pretzels, Chex Mix, peanuts, etc.)
4. Do we accept credit cards?
5. Is seating first come, first served?
Some of the smaller less crowded shows are first come first serve. Any show with online ticket sales will have reserved seating and limited tables. People are seated by ticket purchase date, starting at the front by the stage and working back. We suggest buying online and early to assure a prime spot for the show. Honestly though.... there isn't a bad seat in the house!
6. Do we take reservations?
Out of respect for the artist, we have had too many “no shows” and no longer accept unpaid reservations. You can buy your tickets on-line at: Old Quarter Tickets on Prekindle, pre-purchase your tickets at the Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe or buy at the door if the show is not sold out.
7. Do we serve liquor?
No, we only serve beer and wine. You can bring your own bottle, but you will be charged a corkage fee of $15, and $2 for set-ups.
8. How do I book my band?
Please e-mail Booking. Please include samples of your music, a short bio about you and/or your band, and any links to live performances. Please remember Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe only hosts original music, no cover or tribute bands.
9. What is Listening Room etiquette?
The Old Quarter is considered a “Listening Room”. During the artist performance we ask that you refrain from loud conversations and phone calls. Please refrain from yelling out to the artist between songs and during (No one likes a heckler!) and silence your cell phone. We ask this out of respect for the artist and other patrons watching the show. You may take your drink outside to smoke, use the phone or talk with your BFF.
10. Do you refund shows?
No. There are absolutely no refunds or exchanges on tickets unless the venue or artist cancels the event. In the event a show has been canceled, you will only be refunded the price of ticket (plus tax), but not the service fees. We use a 3rd party service, and the service fee is their charge. Buy at your own risk!
